Wedding: Mike & Alex | Bahia Resort Hotel, San Diego, CA | Analisa Joy Photography | San Diego, CA Photographer

I love photographing high school sweethearts. It’s so fun to celebrate a love that’s lasted through so many stages of life. I enjoy walking around and seeing all the old photos of the awkward years displayed and hearing all the stories that they shared in their teen years. Mike and Alex met in Spanish class and they dated all throughout high school. Their love is effortless, silly, and affectionate– such a special treat to witness and capture. Their wedding day was an absolute dream! If only all my weddings had an ideal timeline like this one. Their schedule flowed so well and we were never rushed. We had time to walk around and, for the first time ever, this sweet couple said they felt like they had enough photos. They used their leftover time in their hotel surrounded by their best friends. They ate, drank, listened to music, danced, relaxed, and watched the sunset in their seaside room until the grand entrance. I love that these two didn’t spend their day looking at their watch to catch up to their schedule and instead they took the time to truly enjoy the beauty of it all with one another. This wedding was so much fun to be a part of and I’m so excited to see what lies ahead for this incredibly sweet couple. Congrats Mike and Alex!
