Chase and Kenna have to be one of the funnest couples I have had the pleasure of photographing. When we arrived for their getting ready pictures, both Chase and Kenna were cool, calm, and collected. Usually, the brides are last in the hair and makeup stations, but Kenna was one of the first and she spent the rest of her morning helping everyone else get ready. We headed over to their venue where the boys spent their afternoon playing mini golf and the girls relaxed in the bridal suite. Chase and Kenna went back and forth about doing a first look, but a few weeks prior to her wedding Kenna decided that she was going to go for it. She said she could not have been happier with her decision. Even with their big bridal party we were able to capture all their portraits prior to the ceremony and once they said, “I do” they were able to celebrate with the rest of their family and friends. Chase and Kenna’s reception had to be one of the funnest receptions I have photographed. They had hundreds of guest and all of them were out of their seats and on the dance floor. I can’t tell you how many times the newlyweds and their guests told us to put down our cameras, grab a drink, and start dancing… we didn’t because there were too many great candids to capture, but that did not stop us from dancing while taking pictures. Chase and Kenna are truly a joy to be around and photograph. I am so honored that I was able to be a part of such a special time in their life and to have gained new friends in the process.
