I am excited to introduce my most recent senior, Daniel. Daniel’s graduation is only weeks away and I loved being able to spend time with him and reminisce on the glory of high school and discuss the excitement of college. It was supposed to be cold and cloudy for our session, but Daniel brought the sunshine and we had the most beautiful day! That’s San Diego’s bipolar weather for you! Daniel is such a cool guy and like most my seniors, he is one of many talents. He has a passion for tennis and he is currently undefeated. I felt honored that he took a day off practice to squeeze in a session. He also loves music and enjoys playing the ukelele. I made him play the songs that always come to mind when you see a ukelele, “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” and “I’m Yours.” I love when people incorporate instruments into their sessions. I’m always amazed by those musically gifted and it’s so inspiring to capture them getting into the zone while playing. I’m excited to see what the future has in store for this bright senior. Congrats Daniel!
I can’t believe it’s been two years since I photographed his older sister, Sierra.
She was such a helpful sister during Daniel’s session. I had to squeeze her in a few.
I always ask my seniors to pick their final pose.
I loved that Daniel effortlessly chose this one.
