Looking back on this wedding weekend in the South of France, I still have to pinch myself that it was real life! I met Peter and Christine months prior to their wedding for an engagement session. They found me through social media and flew down from San Francisco for their photo shoot. At the time, they didn’t have wedding plans, but they had dreams of eloping in Europe. Shortly after their session, Christine contacted me ready to make her dreams a reality and told me that they were going to say, “I do” at a Chateau in France. We had a few ice cream dates leading up to the main event and then we flew off to Europe! When we arrived, Peter and Christine were in the lobby enjoying wine and snacks with their friends. What I love most about these two is how they effortlessly make you feel like one of the gang. We dropped off our suitcases and then rushed back to the lobby because they insisted that we join them. Even though most of us flew red eyes and traveled all day, we laughed and drank wine until 3am… It was so fun! The following day, we all loaded on a shuttle and ventured out to the Chateau. For two days, we stayed off the grid in a private Chateau that was filled with only Peter and Christine’s closest family and friends. Christine once again insisted that we tag along for all the festivities because she’s the sweetest bride ever! So we easily obliged and joined them at their rehearsal dinner where we got to eat in an underground cave. We had such a great time getting to know their guests, I ended up sharing a room with their friends (and ditching my own room) because I loved them all so much! Before we made our way into the cave, we snuck in a mini photo session and I couldn’t be more obsessed with what we captured!
