I am so excited to introduce the Nguyen family. They are from Norway and they flew out for their first visit/family vacation to the United States. They are road tripping around the West Coast and I loved that they made San Diego one of their main stops. They visited Legoland and all the well known sandy beaches. They wanted to escape the cold and they could not have come at a better time since San Diego is experiencing a heat wave. Our session was at 9:00am and it was well over 80 degrees by the time we finished. When they contacted me, they said they wanted their pictures to be taken at a well known park in San Diego. What’s more well known than Balboa Park? It’s easy to get desensitized to the beauty of Balboa when you are photographer because it is an overused photography location, but it was fun to see the look on their faces when they visited new sites for the first time. They were in awe of the Organ Pavilion, the trees, and they loved the beautiful and vibrant gardens. It was the fresh perspective that I needed to remember how special Balboa Park is to San Diego. We are so lucky to have it in our city. We began our session early in the morning because their road trip was still in full gear and they were ready to get on their way to Viva Las Vegas! I am so thankful I was able to meet such a sweet family during their first vist ever to the United States. It was an honor to capture such a great memory!
