Three blog posts in one week… going for a personal record!! One of the best parts of my job is documenting the ones I love during different stages of their life. Chelsea is my best friend and I feel so lucky to have been around since the early butterfly stages of her relationship with Casey. I photographed their engagement, I stood by their side on their wedding day, and now I get the privilege of photographing their love as a married couple. After Chelsea’s wedding day, these two took a job opportunity up in Portland, Oregon while Trent and I moved toward LA for medical school. The move was hard on us both and we cried several times because Chelsea practically lived at my house and she worked with me. We went from seeing one another everyday to once every couple of months. Although we made the most of it with all the changes, we were both looking forward to the day when we could move back home. Last Summer, Chelsea and I found out at the same time (4 years later) that we were both moving back to San Diego!! We both feel incredibly blessed to return to the community that we love! We still are not used to driving to see another (because it usually took a plane + hours of driving), but we appreciate the small commute! I had so much fun hanging out with these two at our favorite beach, eating ice cream, watching the planes land, and playing in the water until sunset. These are the best of days!
