Jeff and Melissa are the couple that you want to call on a Friday night after a long work week. They are fun and they have this effortless ability to exude joy to those around them. I love that they share a passion for the Chargers and how they incorporated their team spirit into the session. Some couples throw on a jersey if time permits, but they were dedicated and they decided to start their shoot representing their favorite home team! I also love how witty these two are and their quick one liners. Their personalities mesh together so well and I enjoyed being able to witness their fun and genuin love for one another through my camera. We could not have asked for a better afternoon because throughout their session, they laughed, they drank, and they danced. It was the ingredients to a carefree and memorable day. I loved hanging out with these two and I’m thankful that I have gained two new friends from this process. I’m looking forward to their wedding next year because if they were this much fun in their engagement session, I can’t imagine what the wedding day will be like! Congrats Jeff and Melissa!

On sessions, I tend to have an ADD photographer brain.
I’ll tell my clients to head to one spot and then I’ll peer over at another and see some magical light and change the plans.
I do this multiple times throughout my sessions, but it’s always worth it.
