Andee and Mandy… is that the best couple name combination or what? I had the best time photographing this sweet pair’s engagement session a few weeks ago. They drove to Upland and met me at one of my favorite parks. We were greeted with gorgeous lighting and perfect weather. Andee and Mandy got engaged last November and they are currently in the planning process for their wedding. They have a few venues/dates in mind and I’m excited to see where they end up! Andee is in the Navy and he perfected Mandy’s dream proposal. While on deployment he was Facetiming Mandy (who was eager to get engaged) and while she thought he was halfway across the world, he was actually right outside her door. He tricked her with the Facetime and later walked in to pop the question. She was completely surprised and in her own words she was, “ugly crying” with happiness. These two are so easy going and they moved to the top of my favorites because an hour prior to their shoot they called and asked if they could incorporate carne asada fries into their session… They even brought me some!!!! They said the fries represented them so well and in that moment, I knew we would be effortless friends. Such a delicious way to end the perfect day! Congrats Andee and Mandy!
